Combined-Cycle Thermoelectric Power Generation Plants Insulated with Perlitemp ®.

Central Puerto

This newly installed 770 MW combined-cycle thermoelectric facility uses Perfiltra’s Perlitemp ® to operate at temperatures of up to 570 ºC. The facility was built in Puerto Nuevo in the city of Buenos Aires and belongs to Central Puerto S.A. Basic engineering was carried out by General Electric of the United States and contracted by Techint S.A.

El Bracho

Located in San Miguel of Tucumán, the insulation for this 440 MW combined-cycle power plant, owned by Pluspetrol Energy S.A., was installed by Perfiltra S.A. The areas using Perlitemp ® insulation operate at temperatures of up to 580 ºC. Installation of the plant was contracted via Ingeniería Tauro S.A. of Argentina and engineered by Black & Veatch of the United States.
